2010 - 2011 Goose Season a Success!

The 2010 - 2011 goose season has ended in what can only be described a resounding success. The Goose Group harvested 324 Canada Geese, between Sept 2010 and March 2011. When we add the number of geese shot during duck hunts the number gets closer to 350 birds. It was great to see everyone who participated having a good time and being so successful.

We have to take the time to thank Jim Cholin, Wes Cox and Kal Hansen for acting as Hunt Masters and putting in the extra time it takes to make the hunts memorable.

Through the efforts of Wes and Jim, we are looking forward to adding new farms to our hunting locations next season. A deal is being struck with a couple of farmers in the Cedar area and once we have the details the Waterfowl Committee will up date everyone.

Thanks for your patients and participation during the past season. I look forward to seeing you all next season.
